The origin of the Faravelli family and a century of traditions. 1895 represents our way to say thanks to our ancestors for having passed on this great passion for wine.

1895 is a purple red barbera. It's intense, fruity, harmonious, with hints of dark cherries and liqueured plum fruits. It's soft, juicy, with good acidity and energy.
It is well combined with savoury starters, roast, braised and boiled meats, mature cheeses.

Obtained from the vinification of 100% Croatina grapes, this wine is named Gallesio to remember the famous Italian botanist, that for the first time, in 1831, mentioned this vine variety as “Croattino”. To him, to Giorgio Gallesio, his studies and masterpieces, we dedicate the result of the scrupulous selection and careful vinification of our Croatina grapes.

Ruby red wine. Ripe grapes aroma, appealing, vinous, red fruit scents. To the palate it’s fizzy, smooth, fresh, well-balanced.
Particurarly suitable for all kinds of meat, risotti, pasta. Excellent with pizza.
Serving temperature: 15-18° C
